focus  [foh-kuhs]:  noun -  a central point, as of attraction, attention, or activity

What is the focal point of your life?  Family…work…wealth?  What defines who you are?  Do your actions support what you claim?

All too often we put on the coat of Christianity prior to going outside.  After all, we have to show everyone who we are, right?  Wrong.  We should never have to rely upon anything other than our actions to define who we are to others.  Our focus should be obvious to any observer, our intentions beyond that of any doubt.

Can I say that I have been this way?  No.  You see, for years I have “thought” about how I should be, changes that should be made, and issues I should address.  I have considered the impact that witnessing could have on those around me.  I have expressed interest in advanced degrees in Apologetics.  I have, in short, been a hypocrite.

It’s time to change that.  My vision has been blurred by the distractions of this world for too long.  It’s time for me to focus on Jesus.  How about you?

Corrected vision has never been better!
